Dates are amazing. They have fabulous flavor, a superb texture, and when stuffed with Cannabis and goat cheese then wrapped in bacon, you could enter them in the appetizer hall of fame.

16 pitted dates
2 tablespoons goat cheese
4 teaspoons canna-butter
8 slices bacon, cut in half

1. Heat oven to 325 °F.
2. Place the dates on work surface and with a small knife make a slit in each and spread open.
3. In a small bowl, combine the goat cheese with the butter until well mixed.
4. Divide the mixture and press into each date, closing them up after filling.
5. Wrap the bacon around each stuffed date.
6. Place the dates bacon
seam down on baking sheet.
7. Bake until the bacon is crisp, about 10 minutes.

It would not be Thanksgiving without a stuffed mushroom. I think it’s a law.

16 large white button mushrooms
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and ground black pepper
1/2 cup diced shallots
2 minced garlic cloves
3/4 pound ground spicy sausage
2/3 cups Italian breadcrumbs
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 teaspoons canna-olive oil
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1. Preheat oven to 325 °F.
2. Clean mushrooms using a paper towel to remove any dirt. Do not run under water.
3. To prepare mushrooms, remove stems. Finely chop and set stems aside. Lightly coat each mushroom with olive oil, salt and pepper. Place cap side up on a baking sheet for later use.
4. In medium sauté pan, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat. Add shallots and garlic and cook until translucent. Remove the shallots and set aside. Add sausage to the pan and cook until all the pink has disappeared. Add the chopped mushroom stems along with the cooked shallots, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Be sure to break apart sausage, with spoon, until crumbled into small pieces.
5. Remove sausage mixture from heat and add in breadcrumbs, and cream cheese. Blend until cheese is melted and distributed throughout. Add canna-oil to mixture and blend together for two minutes.

8 thick slices toasty crusty bread
2 whole garlic cloves, peeled
4 teaspoons canna-olive oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups cherry tomatoes
1 garlic clove, minced
3 scallions, cut in 1-inch pieces
Coarse salt and pepper, to taste

1. Heat oven to 325 °F.
2. Place the bread on your work surface. Rub one side of the bread with the garlic cloves. Drizzle or brush the bread with the canna-oil.
3. On a baking sheet, toss the olive oil with the tomatoes, garlic and scallion. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, or until the tomatoes have lost their shape and the scallions turn golden brown.
4. Divide the tomato mixture between the bread slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
