Ryan Meade is a Eugene-based glassblower who has been on the torch since 2011. The style is called a “Beldar” after the father figure in the 1993 Sci-Fi, Coneheads. These splashless rigs are renowned for their ability to let you draw as hard as you want without fear of any unwanted moisture. Find his easily recognizable pieces at both locations of NVS Glassworks in Portland.
